Which inspection do you need?
Four services, one standard. Pick the stage you're at — or message us and we'll tell you which applies.
Handover Inspection
Conducted on behalf of the buyer of a newly-built home, before you take possession. As an independent party, we identify outstanding defects, incomplete finishes and poor workmanship — making sure the building meets industry standards.
Generally the final stage of the building process within the Defect Liability Period, a handover inspection gives you a detailed record of every imperfection so your developer can rectify it at their cost.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
Unlike newly-launched properties, buyers of second-hand homes don't get a defect liability period. Water damage, electrical faults and hidden defects become your problem the moment you sign.
Order a pre-purchase inspection before signing the Sale & Purchase Agreement to understand the true condition of the property — and negotiate with the facts in hand.
Commercial Inspection
When you lack the time or technical knowledge to assess a building properly, common and hidden defects can cost a fortune in unexpected repairs. Cracked walls, a leaking roof, unstable stairs and dangerous fit-outs add up fast.
Appoint our professional inspection team to identify priority defects in your shop, office or commercial unit — and buy with peace of mind.
Defects Re-inspection
Once your developer has repaired the defects flagged in the first inspection, it's worth confirming the work was actually done — and done properly.
We return to verify each rectified item against the original report, so nothing slips through before your Defect Liability Period expires and the responsibility shifts to you.
Quality Defects Report
Every inspection ends with a comprehensive, photo-documented report assessed against InterNACHI Standards of Practice and the CIDB CIS 7:2014 Quality Assessment System.
It covers architectural, mechanical and electrical works — ceilings, walls, floors, doors, windows, staircases, fixtures, sanitary fittings, electrical testing, drainage and water-leakage tests — clear enough for any developer to act on. Delivered as a PDF within 3–5 working days.
Every inspection covers all three works
Architectural, mechanical and electrical — assessed against InterNACHI Standards of Practice and CIDB CIS 7:2014, with each finding graded by severity.
